Description

Oak Woodland

Mostly located on the Eastern slopes of the Coast Range and the Western foothills of the Sierra Nevadas.

Includes all 16 native oak species of California, low shrubs and carpets of grass.

Temperatures are cooler and it has a lot of shade.
