Number Sense

  • I can name, count and order numbers up to 30.
  • I know that bigger numbers go with bigger groups of objects.
  • If I see two groups of objects, I can tell if they are equal or if one group has

      more or less than the other group.

 

 

Measurements & Geometry

  • I can compare:  I can tell which objects are shorter, longer, taller, lighter, and

     heavier or hold more.

  • I can name and describe a circle, triangle, square, rectangle, cube, sphere

English Language Arts

 

Word Analysis

  • I can tell you the names of all the uppercase and lowercase letters of the

     alphabet.

  • I can blend sounds into words.
  • I can rhyme words.
  • I can tell you the sounds at the ending of words.
  • I know all the letter sounds.
  • I can read all the sight words.
  • I can change the word “pot” into “hot”.
  • I can describe places, things, and special times with “exciting” words.

 

Comprehension

  • I can retell stories.
  • I can ask and answer questions about the story.
  • I can tell you the characters, setting and events in stories.

 

Writing

  • I can use letters and sounds to write words.
  • I can write short vowel words.
  • I can write uppercase and lowercase letters correctly.
  • I spell words by using the letters and sounds I know.

 

Mathematics

 

Number Sense

  • I can name, count and order numbers up to 30.
  • I can add and subtract using counters.

 

Measurement & Geometry

  • I can compare shapes by describing their attributes.
